This week's Weasel Radio is cancelled due to Owen's day gig (Brett Favre applied for reinstatement so Wisconsin sports radio is going bananas). In the meantime, feel free to continue to write in to weasel@1070mail.com to make your case for why you should win tickets to my shows in August at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago (make 'em good!). And check out this piece by Larry Livermore: - I am hoping we can get Larry on the show to discuss this next week!
Also next week the Great Moustache Challenge of 2008 will come to a conclusion!
Thanks
Ben
Today's show is up. The Brett Favre soap opera continues, the great Moustache Challenge of 2008 takes an interesting turn as Owen's facial hair actually becomes visible to the naked eye (photos up on our MySpace page!), Jim Testa no-shows, and we take a listen to a band that is almost the worst band in the world. Plus I am giving away a pair of tickets to my show at Reggie's Rock Club on Aug. 22 - listen to this episode to find out how to win 'em!

We taped this afternoon's show. More on Brett Favre, and Glen Waggoner joins us to talk about the late Bobby Murcer. Plus the Moustache Challenge progresses! If you're not into sports you may want to give this episode a pass!

We taped this afternoon's show: Listen as we opine on FishFest 08, pickup basketball, and getting old and fat. Plus we dissect the number one song in the country, I issue Owen a facial hair challenge and Jim Testa makes another valiant effort to play something we'll like!

Check out this delightfully warped little gem:
MoCo Market - Closed
While I never got over to this unique local Madison store, I am sorry to see it closing. It was an unusual store in that the sold a few groceries, wine and beer, as well as sushi, music, magazines, and other odds and ends with a green flavor. I am not surprised but it makes me disappointed because it shows how difficult it is for any small neighborhood store with limited parking to stay in business. With all the condos in the area it would seem that a few wealthy folks could have dropped some big cash on high margin items to keep the place going. It seems that the WalMarts, Borders, Panera's of the world will be the only places that will draw in the shoppers cash and all the unique locally owned places will struggle.
