Teenage Head's Frankie Venom died today at 51. The band's guitarist, Gord Lewis, made the announcement here and Punknews.org has a piece here. Teenage Head were a big influence on me - at 16 I listened to their first album relentlessly; it still holds up today. I had just ordered their album with Marky Ramone last weekend (it hasn't arrived yet). They were a great band and Frankie Venom was a fantastic singer.
